Agree you need to rewatch first one before. This one was very true to first Terminator right down to very specific details.

This should be the end of the series according to this movie.


Only thing I didn't like was, Original Terminator took too much damage in this movie and kept going.

I've seen the original so many times, don't think I need to watch it again to get it.

I went to see it on Friday, thought it was as good as 2. Enjoyed the movie enough to see it again. Always my grade to see if it was good.

Were going tomorrow to see it I hope its good then off to the sand pit with the ar-15,s how romantic.

Saw it last night. Though it overly uses special effects at a few points so it becomes cartoony (what movie doesn't these days), it was a good successor to 1 and 2 just as the OP states. In fact, if they cut the final scene and market 1,2,gensys as the terminator trilogy, it would be a fitting conclusion to the franchise. Besides, after the way it is bombing, they may just do that.
