Then, when he grows and is steadier on his feet, the master begins to educate him. He tells him certain truths which the disciple needs to hear, and in doing so he begins to chisel him, sculpt him, mould him. Or, if you prefer another image, he administers a treatment with several injections and minor surgeries. Yes, this is what truths are: adjustments, shocks or operations. For some, these truths are very difficult to hear and to bear, but for the disciple who has decided to advance and evolve they are magnificent, because he sees at last what weighs him down, what holds him captive or causes him to make mistakes. Only those who are truly touched by the grace of God ask their master to speak the truth to them, even if it is painful. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69734931 Yes! Beautiful! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9831451 you said 'these truths'. that would normally reference the content of your post. are you sitting on your throne awaiting the moment someone inquires from your magnificence, "please, tell of 'these truths' ? Pretty much everything I've seen posted by OP is from the writings of a Peter Deunov, Bulgarian mystic from last century. Most of it I heartily agree with. It could almost be called Functional Christianity (if such a thing even exists). |

It could almost be called Functional Christianity (if such a thing even exists). the original post here is self evident.... nothing revelatory, nothing new. nothing 'brilliant'. the elaborate quote is simply: advancement is given to those seeking. The cost of advancement is painful but the result is worth it. how about offering something helpful rather than a vague rambling? |
