If you are allergic to bee stings and you ever get stung and you don’t have your Epi pen handy or you’re not near a hospital, remember this GLP post.

FIRST: click on this youtube link. The description of WHAT TO DO IF YOU GET BIT starts 8 minutes into it:

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

I personally tested this 2 weeks ago. From past experience I develop these large welts when I get stung. Well, 2 weeks ago I got bit by 2 wasps. Right away I went to the bathroom and peed in a cup. I dipped my finger in the pee and put a few drops under my tongue. I also put some pee on a paper towel and held it to the bites.

1) IMMEDIATELY THE STINGING WENT COMPLETELY AWAY. I mean: there was no sensation AT ALL of stinging or pain.
2) The swelling reaction that I would normally get DID NOT HAPPEN.
3) I was amazed.

I know that people make fun of this, but if you do a search for ‘urine therapy’ you’ll see that I’m not kidding. This has been used all over the world for centuries as a cure for many conditions.

Again – I know this works because I proved it to myself.

I’ll try to answer any serious questions.

Well, this would make some funny trial at least.

Attorney: "What did you do when you saw the victim on the ground, gasping?"

Guy: "I pissed on him"
"The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title."

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

Millions of "brilliant" people poured ice water over their head too during the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.....yea it didn't help either. As for pissing in your own mouth, well, you just go with that then.

Drink Benadryl, it works we keep some on the ambulance. Still call 911 if you are allergic and going to go into anaphylaxis. Benadryl is not as good as Epi, but should help some.

the advantage of urine is that it is always there.

the application of it locally makes sense - when you consider it is a traditional rememdy for jellyfish stings.

under the tongue is tougher to accept - but not impossible.

the hormone replacement therapy drug Premarin was literally from mare's urine.

If the alternative was anaphylactic shock, I'd think putting a spot of pee in your mouth would be no problem. Or get your gf to do it. rockon

PLEASE REMEMBER MANY NATURAL HEALTH FOOD STORES SELL BEE POLLEN- it is also added to many powdered green drinks.
Bee pollen can send someone susceptible to stings into Shock !
It runs on my husbands side of the family and as a child he was never allergic to bee's - Then one day after age 30 he was.
I made a shake for us with Bee pollen in it and he almost died! Lucky I had Benadryl handy, by the time the ambulence got there he was almost dead.

The pee test does not surprise me seeing how well it works on jellyfish stings.bump

Besides my own personal experience, here's someone else who is allergic to wasps who successfully tried the urine technique:

(starts at 9:00 minutes into it)

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

So, in addition to bees and wasps, this guy in the video (Andrew Norton Webber) also says that the urine technique works for any venomous bites - including snake bites.

You can bet that now, after I proved to myself that this works for wasp bites, that I would try it in a heartbeat if I ever got bit by a snake - or any other venomous critter for that matter!

Google search results seem to confirm this. I know a scuba diver though who swears it works.

Having said that, if I was stung by a jellyfish I would still try the urine drops under my tongue because of the success I had with the wasp bite venom. I certainly wouldn't have anything to lose...
