I was a crew member with a major airline, retired in 2004. The caterers (kitchens) serving the planes have been privately owned for many years (not owned by the airlines). The workers were Middle Eastern men. After 9/11, when they had checks at the gates, Middle Eastern men were doing the checks. I even asked one where he was from. He smiled and said, "Pakistan." At security, you'll see many Middle Eastern people now.

I still travel frequently. All I see are Middle Eastern employees, Hispanic and blacks working at the airports!
