Re: Grooveshark co-founder found dead in home
There seems to be a lot of deaths lately. We really need to keep track, a master list. There is definitely a pattern starting to emerge and where there are patterns, there are connections. And where there are connections, there is a "bigger picture."

If you fuck with TPTB's system of control and enslavement, in any capacity, you are risking your life. Remember what happened to the guy who headed up Diaspora, the anti-Facebook social media site built around privacy?

Correct. If their revenue stream is disrupted or the levers of control are under attack, people seem to die mysteriously under strange circumstances.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69545349

I think you are right. Entrepreneurship that threatens profits or existing paradigms is under attack. Also, a guy invented some devise that would completely encrypt Internet activity in a massively effective way. The day before his public introduction of the device at some security conference, he just tweeted that the whole project was shut down - indefinitely . No reason. No more info. WTF.

These bright start-ups are shut down if they in anyway threaten the existing power structure. Sorta like JP Morgan and colleagues during the rise of the industrial age.

I hate this part of humanity. It never changes. It destroys lives and it hinders human progress. Imagine where we would be if everyone who was killed or squashed for their inventions actually was able to fulfill their dreams. Imagine where we would be technologically and in every field...it's heartbreaking.

The timing of his death is unusual.

Anyone remember when Breitbart had convenient heart attack the day he was suppose to release some juicy info?

I wouldn't doubt electronic warfare is utilized in some of these cases.

I hate the way they present the news. Gainesville...where? Gainesville TN? Gainesville FL? Gainesville TX? Gainesville AL? WHERE ARE YOU MAN?????? Oh, FLORIDA.

And newsies, put some state nomenclature on your friggin front page. don't make me click the "about our company" shit that still does not tell me where you are located. GLP shills, that's you.

If you don't tell me what he died of I'm saying it was auto-erotic asphyxiation.

I put on my esp helmet with magical peridot crystals and tune in...woo. His girlfriend caused some shit. She even checked his pulse, if seh's blonde. He was POISONED with heart arrithmia stuff.

Insightful post. There is a moratorium on human creativity in virtually every aspect of life right now, the business/entrepreneurial world is no exception. I'm not religious, but we are under the spell of some sort of evil right now. It must be stopped. The human race will not only not advance and make necessary discoveries, it will not survive unless things change dramatically. It's saddening when I look at the creative prospects and potential brilliance of the may young people I know going to waste. I wish better things for them.

"Fascism should more properly
be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate
power." - Benito Mussolini.

The early twentieth century Italians, who invented the word fascism, also
had a more descriptive term for the concept -- estato corporativo: the
corporatist state. Unfortunately for Americans, we have come to equate fascism
with its symptoms, not with its structure. The structure of fascism is
corporatism, or the corporate state. The structure of fascism is the union,
marriage, merger or fusion of corporate economic power with governmental power.
Failing to understand fascism, as the consolidation of corporate economic and
governmental power in the hands of a few, is to completely misunderstand what
fascism is. It is the consolidation of this power that produces the demagogues
and regimes we understand as fascist ones.

RIP to a digital music pioneer. I loved the Grooveshark service and enjoyed using it for my blog's playlists. I was saddened by its fate and now to hear this awful news. Makes you wonder if the greedy record label powers that be may have had something to do with it.

Re: Grooveshark co-founder found dead in home
Grooveshark was a web-based music streaming service owned and operated by Escape Media Group in the United States.[1] Users could upload digital audio files, which could then be streamed and organized in playlists. The Grooveshark website had a search engine, music streaming features, and a music recommendation system.

The legality of Grooveshark's business model, which permits users to upload copyrighted music, remains undetermined. The company won a major lawsuit filed by Universal Music Group concerning use of Universal's pre-1972 recordings. Grooveshark was also sued for copyright violations by EMI Music Publishing, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group.[4] Concerns about copyrights led Apple and Facebook to remove Grooveshark's applications from the iOS App Store and Facebook platform respectively. However, Grooveshark was available in alternative app stores, such as Cydia, Google Play and BlackBerry World.[5][6][7][8] It was also a default application on Ubuntu Touch.[9]

Answered my own question..

"Lori Greenberg, who lives in St. Petersburg, said the medical examiner’s autopsy found no explanation for a cause of death, but toxicology results will take two or three months."
[link to www.gainesville.com]

No known Cause of Death makes this a very suspicious and high profile case

Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.
