Same in Sweden, I was kinda shocked the first time I saw those drugged up people with the wisdom teeth removal videos on youtube, funny videos yet I was like "why are they drugged up like that for a something like wisdom teeth, doesn't hurt that bad to pull it".

vicodens are OK. kinda hard to get. Percocets are much better. I had a lot of oral surgery 20 years ago after and was getting percs like they were candy. They don't do that anymore, like I said, even vicodens, which are weaker, are kinda hard to get, even when you have a legit reason.

NSAIDS are way better for that type of pain.

This is completely untrue. Trust me. There are some opiates that have a gel added to them that prevents you from crushing them up. If you are able to crush it up, it still works. The problem with vicodin/lortab/norco is that it has acetaminophen(tylenol) mixed in with it. The more is in there the more it burns when you snort it. You can get used to this. What you want is roxies (R-oxycodone). These don't have acetaminophen in them and have absolutely no burn in them. Also acetaminophen can damage your liver. If you take something like more than 1000 mg of acetaminophen per four hours you can damage your liver. Most of these pills have 325 mg acetaminophen in them. So if you take more than 3 in a four hour window you could be damaging your liver, but I have seen data showing its actually more than 1000 mg that is dangerous; so they probably low balled it.

Same here except the dentist in my case was a little lady so she actually hanged on my jaw to try to jam it out.
Eventually she got it out, that was some serious jaw exercise.

I had 4 wisdom pulled at once and took no medicine.

I would have done the same if I had shit ripped out of my body too.

But as this AC warns, be careful to fall for the love of the opiates. Take as needed. Don't listen to the label and just keep taking them as "suggested" if you really could do okay without them.

And remember that there are many pain relievers that are not physically addictive.
