And The Mountains Were Not Found.
According to the theory of Whole Earth Decompression Dynamics neither Plate Tectonics nor Earth Expansion Theory is correct, but elements of both are.

I'm not a physicist but the plain English synopsis is this:

Earth and the other inner planets were originally gaseous giants like Jupiter, but early in the development of the solar system their gaseous atmospheres were blown away by a massive solar explosion. Under the intense pressure of the explosion the planet we now know as Earth condensed. However, once the pressure from the atmosphere was removed, the Earth begsn to slowly decompress over millions of years. Marvin Herndon, the physicist who published the theory of Whole Earth Decompression Dynamics in 2005, suggests that we are nearing the end of the process of decompression.

Now we leave the realm of well-thought out published science and enter the realm of my own suppositions.

For I thought to myself, what happens as the pressures reach equalization, as Earth approaches the end of its decompression? The main expansion cracks are in the floor of the Pacific, and as the Pacific floor has expanded the Himalayas, Rockies, and Andies have wrinkled.

The continents have been squeezed as the ocean floor expands, but it seems the force of decompression has outweighed the resistance from the continents. But if the decompression of the Earth is nearing completion, then the force of pushback from the continents would dominate. What would happen then?

Could the continents rather suddenly release like squeezed springs, pushing the coastal boundaries out over the ocean plates? Would this cause the mountain creases to dewrinkle suddenly, flattening as the Pacific Ocean suddenly became smaller on all sides? What would happen to the Pacific islands as the ocean level suddenly rose? Would the coastal cities of the Pacific suddenly be submerged? Would the sudden spring back of the continents cause major earthquakes?

Which option will occur.. will the continental squeeze cause the Caldera to explode.. or will the continent relieve the pressure by sending the west coast under water.

According to Revelations, it seems the Apostle John predicted the latter option.
