I told the neighbor I carry a gun in my house just for her dogs.

Its not the Dogs fault its the owners, its the breeders.
Since they banned pit bulls here there is very few of them anymore.
Very few attacks.
A pit bull was bred purely for dog fighting, which is illegal.
So how can breeders justify what they do? It is illogical.

She can not train an animal...she needs classes. But to late for the old dogs.

I once had a long haired German Shepherd.
They call them Alsatians.
He was my best friend.
He passed when he was 14 years and 4 months from old age and back leg problems.
I had to get him put down, it wrecked me for years.
During his life he loved other animals, even let cats attack him and just played with them.
Only when you tried to come in my yard would he maul you to death, and only humans.
He was a huge scary dog but such a loving beast.

Its the breed mate, they were bred for the pit to fight.
For money.
That is now illegal, there is no need to breed them anymore.

There is certain breeds, staffies, mastiffs, they are legit breeds.
But anything with "pit" in front of it is an illegal dog fighting breed and should not be continued.
