While surfing at SGT Report; I spotted an article warning of a new U.S. law now working its way through the Corrupt Congress, H.R. 2899, the "Countering Violent Extremism" Act. It was sponsored (surprise! surprise!) by a Texas Republican, arguably the "reddest" of U.S. red-necks.
The gist of the bill is to establish a new "office" as part of the totally Orwellian, Department of Homeland Security. The new office is to be called, naturally, the "Office for Countering Violent Extremism". It's primary responsibility will be to manufacture enormous mounds of "counter-terrorist" propaganda. To quote:
Establishing a counter-messaging program to craft strategic counter-messages to the ["terrorist"] propaganda and messaging...
In other words; supposedly Americans are being bombarded by so much "terrorist propaganda" that the (totally innocent) U.S. government now needs to BEGIN to (openly) manufacture its own propaganda. Supposedly, up to now, the U.S. government has not been engaging in any propaganda campaigns.
So if you thought U.S. government "anti-terrorist" propaganda was extreme and excessive before; you ain't seen nothing yet!
Of course this new Office will do more than just manufacture steaming mounds of U.S. government propaganda. In order to do its job properly; the Bill tells us that this Office needs lots of NEW POWERS.
What sort of "new powers"? Primarily, much, much MORE spying on Americans. Three, separate sections in this Act start with the word "identifying", with that word nothing but an obvious euphemism for SPYING.
Remember how the U.S. government was recently forced to admit that much of its spying on Americans was "unauthorized" (by law) -- i.e. illegal? Well, with this new law; these Nazis can justify ANY type of spying, and any LEVEL of spying.
Why?
Because to produce the right propaganda; this Ministry of Propaganda first needs to "totally understand" the (supposed) under-currents of terrorism in the United States. And to do that; (supposedly) the U.S. government needs to do much, much, much more spying...on Americans.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Countering Violent Extremism Act of
2015'' or the ``CVE Act''.
SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION OF THE OFFICE FOR COUNTERING VIOLENT EXTREMISM OF
THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY.
(a) In General.--Title I of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (6
U.S.C. 101 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following new
section:
