Green Eyed People

I have green eyes colour, the exact same as Michael Schumacher. They turn grey depending on weather. Schumi's eyes also change to grey.

I have met the Seven times F1 World Champion at F1 races I always looked into his eyes.

I am not sure where we get our eyes colour from. Is it genetics or DNA or what else, I don't know.

sounds like more hazel, not green.

The color of light color ryes like blue, green, grey is caused by an optical illusion. The lack of melatonin produces basically something similar to a diamond. When light hits the eye (diamond) color(s) are formed by the refraction.But it's just an illusion. Blue skies are also an optical illusion.

Thank you for explaining. I knew about "blue" skies but not about the changes in eyes colour.

Ditto for that - my eyes change color too. Green to blue, and sometimes grey. Depends on the lighting and what I'm wearing.

Hazel has brown mixed in with other colors. Changing from grey, to green, to blue - not mixing colors, I believe, is what the others are talking about.
That's what I am talking about at any rate.

Light refraction causes eyes to appear to change colors for people with light color eyes.

I have green eyes, but sometimes they change to blue.

I have light green eyes. A sage green.

There are only two of us in the family that have green eyes. The rest have blue.

My grandpa had one baby blue eye and one light green eye. It was beautiful. He was a handsome man.

Linking in with this, read today that red haired people may be less-reactive to local anaesthetics, wondered why this is?

Well, I have green eyes with a darker ring, but my parents were Irish (I have pale skin & black hair), and that is actually quite common amongst the Irish - I remember from when I was at school, most of my (Irish) classmates had vivid, striking eyes.

I'm blonde with the odd random very red hairs.

Anaesthetic also does not work well on me,I had to get the surgeon To stop 2 minutes into my 1st c section because I could feel it, they didnt belive me at first..that was actually pretty traumatic especially when the surgeon cutting me open says to the the anethetist behind my head "should I stop?" !!!! As if I'm not even there!
At that point the hubby said "yes stop, of course stop"

Afterward they said they thought my spinal block must have gone lopsided, and that I didn't get full coverage...

For my second c section they gave me more anesthetics, waited longer for it to work and i didnt feel a thing, so Who knows...


My nan has the same thing as does my brother, anesthesia take ages to work and at higher doses that normal to get a good coverage..

They both have brown eyes and hair tho..so maybe just genetics?

I have also read that people with a temper (I do) also have the same issues with anesthesia.

I'm a green eyed male, wife says they change color in winter months to hazel,and turn black when I'm pissed or sexually aroused.

Oh and have O negative blood.
