Vets + Money Problems = No Guns

This is one of those "uncle" type deals, but it sounded more credible than a lot of other stuff being talked about lately.

My crazy, super-prepper brother-in-law visited yesterday. He is a big Trump supporter. He says that The Donald has hired investigators to look into the treatment of veterans. Word is that they have discovered the following:

Vets are being asked when they go in for medical treatment whether or not they have ever had any financial problems, past or present, such as making ends meet or paying bills late.

If they answer yes, they are flagged as incompetent, because they can't manage their money, and are going to be identified as ineligible to own a firearm, with that designation going to the national database used for firearm purchases.

When gun control turns into confiscation, they will be at the top of the list.

Anyone heard about this? It could be adapted for the civilian population as well.

It's brilliant, really, because most people if they answer that question honestly would say yes. What a simple way to disqualify a large portion of the population from owning guns.
