They Live, Piper Dies: Rowdy Roddy Piper Dead Only Days After Defending “Racist” Hulk Hogan

Professional wrestling legend Rowdy Roddy Piper, born Roderick George Toombs, died from a cardiac arrest on July 31st, 2015. He is well-known for donning a Scottish kilt and whooping serious ass. He squared off against Hulk Hogan at the first-ever Wrestlemania and had been a friend (and faux foe) to the Hulkster ever since, even defending Hogan amidst his recent scandal.

Piper played both heel and hero throughout his lengthy career, and was almost always feuding with the Hulkster throughout the decades. When Hulk Hogan turned to the “dark side” with the NWO, Roddy refused to cave in and join the organization, playing the defiant hero. This was somewhat reminiscent of his famous role in the 1988 classic They Live, in which Roddy fights a hostile take-over of his country by an alien elite that runs the government, media and banks. Hmm, I wonder who the “aliens” represent.

Piper appeared on the Alex Jones show in 2013, wherein he described They Live as the “Cliff Notes” for what is happening in our world today. Piper was interviwed with Islamic convert Sean Stone, whose jewish father (Oliver Stone), recently caused a stir by questioning Holocaustianity and saying jews dominate the media. The first caller to get on air says “They” are actually jews.
