Hey, guess what. I work in healthcare and am trying to get a job. I had to get a stupid flu shot though flu season is over. Is that stupid or what? The health dept printed my records. They had records back to 2007 of my shots that I got from my employer! That was an eye opener.

I am old and had measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox as a child and I have had my hepb vax. Will they take my word for it? No. I had to be tested for immunity even the hepB which I have proof of immunity to. That isn't good enough, they want a titer (level of antibody) not a pos or neg. Ridiculous.

Now maybe if people would stop going into medical type careers because of how picky they are getting about one's immune status, maybe they would stop some of this nonsense!

Phrased differently, if you go into a healthcare field where you have exposure to patients, you will have to prove your immunity status!!!
