Parents need to be extra vigilant when their kids are vaccinated. You need to physically see the label on the bottle and check that it is the correct vaccine. If the vaccine administrator whinges and complains tell them no vaccine until you see that label.

There have been many times where children have been administered the totally incorrect vaccine and which may have had disastrous consequences for a neonate/infant given the history of that vaccine (eg. Gardasil).

This is all documented in the VAERS database. See below for a sample of HPV vaccines wrongly administered to kids below 1 years of age. Obviously, whoever is administering the vaccine is not properly checking the labels on the bottles. And, as this is a human error, this would certainly open up avenues for legal recourse if an adverse event happens.
