Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70061502 It all depends on which book you read. There's no confusion about what was said, the question is did the man qualify to serve in heaven as assistant king with Jesus? |

If you look up the Greek in Strong's Concordance, paradise is described as a park or an Eden, a place of future happiness. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67571531 Yep; "Let anger alone and leave rage; Do not show yourself heated up only to do evil. 9 For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. ו [Waw] 10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." Jesus Christ was a well known conspiracy theorist back during his day. That's why the Romans and his fellow Jews killed him. Because he got too close to the truth! Pfft! lol I'll laugh my ass off if this causes a huge ruckus now. Conspiracy Theorist is nothing more than a derogatory title used to dismiss a critical thinker. A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying, 'You are mad; you are not like us." -- St. Anthony The Great Social Credit Loser here. |

Isaiah 25:1 kjv O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. john 8:32 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, 'You will become free '?"… |

Lk22:28 Quoting: DGN the thief on the cross who believed upon Him was a sinner, not unlike all who've been born of the flesh and suffered unto such herein. referring to him as an evildoer however crosses a line in every regard in truth those who wish to deny him the gift of the covenant purchased with the saviors blood in their vain efforts to cling to the letter of the law in any regard, will be judged according to the same standard and held accountable thereunto in their own regard I am not referring to the ten commandments, those are just common sense and simple human dignity expects, nay demands compliance thereto of any and every man, but rather the statutes and ordinances which He sufficiently nailed to the cross Christ tolerates much of us and of much we are forgiven if we believe in both He, His truth, and the level of His enduring all abiding love in every mans regard, bar none. Faith is accounted as much accordingly, as well should it be one thing He abhors however is some holy joe legalist who wishes to place himself above another, any other, as we are all instructed not to judge, period. any man who attempts to do so has convicted themselves in the process, as nothing is as it may appear outwardly unto man! He alone knows the minds and hearts of all His children at any given time, which is something no other man has ever been capable of doing... therefore He alone will judge, He will determine, and He will forgive whomsoever He WILL His Will, His Way, not our own there is no way in hell My Father would have made it clear unto this individual that He would "be with Him that very day in Paradise" if such weren't the Gods truth, period Christ was teaching throughout His cruficixion even from the cross in the midst of His trials, those unaware of such have much yet to learn and little time with each day that passes to accomplish such one thing He cannot abide however is a hypocrite, and with great good reason in truth |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69980931 Canada 08/16/2015 10:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The good thief, as he is commonly called, is an unnamed character mentioned in the Gospel of Luke who was crucified alongside Jesus and asked Jesus to remember him in his kingdom. He is traditionally referred to as St. Dismas. Though he has never been formally canonized by the Church, he is believed to be a saint by virtue of Christ’s words, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” His feast day is March 25. When we cross-reference the account of the crucifixion in the Gospels, we can infer something very interesting about St. Dismas: that while on the cross he verbally abused Jesus with the other criminal and the crowd before repenting and asking to be saved. Jesus was the only one that died on Friday and even he didn't go to heaven. The soldiers broke the legs of the two thieves on either side of Christ so they would't escape but when they realized that Jesus was already dead they didn't need to break his. Friday was over and the Sabbath began at sundown and not at midnight and Jesus was the only one that died before sundown. We also know that when Mary tried to hug him on Sunday morning he wouldn't let her because he said that he had not yet ascended to his father. |
