I feel sorry for all the young black students studying journalism because this man is going to make it VERY HARD for you to GET A JOB.

This idiot just gave white people another reason to not want to HIRE blacks in the media.

He aimed the gun up and I am bothered that none of them "felt" the shooter that close.

Then he raised the gun up again and they had no chance.

When you're conducting an interview you focus on your subject and not the surroundings - especially if you feel safe. Apparently this guy had some airtime under his belt also which means he may have been dressed in a suit/tie that wouldn't arouse immediate suspicion. The interview was also being conducted in an out of the way location with few witnesses. The cameraman certainly wouldn't have seen a thing - his back was to the shooter. The reporter was also facing an oblique angle away from the gunman. The interviewee was also out of direct line-of-sight.

Why because it didn't happen the way it does in the movies? Adrenaline does amazing things, yes you can run after being sot and yes reporters and crew don't pay attention to people around them because THEY HAVE PEOPLE STOPPING TO WATCH ALL THE TIME, they are conditioned to do their job. Why do you think cops are taught to shoot to kill not wound, because people will still come at you weather they are shot in the leg or foot because adrenaline will keep you on your feet for a good minute.

It's a hand gun nit a rifle, he shot her in the torso not the head, It's real not Call of Duty.
