As we conclude our September doom marathon, I would like to point your attention to this very well written article. It's somewhat metaphysical / spiritual [I know, I know], but sums up the anticipation for change we've all experienced in September. It's a good read anyway and will show you a different perspective.

But then what is reality? In this regard, I'm reminded of Plato's 'Theory of Forms' which asserts that the invisible world around us rather than the material one to which our five senses are so entrained towards possesses the highest and most fundamental type of reality and thus is representative of perfection while the material world around is imperfect."

Even though Janey's thread has run away with the day, I'd like to thank exlibris for walking us through the month on a trek that seems to actually have lead to this day Sept. 30.

I'll admit I was following this thread with mostly good natured fun as far a fun/doom goes, but here we are with the scariest day we've endured, honestly I think, since Fukushima.

3 more hours in the Midwest to an epic September doom fail. By that, I do not mean stuff happening in the middle east. From the beginning our intent was to document September related E.L.E. type dooms day prophecies and threads. We managed to capture quite a few, some intelligently penned, some we're deranged and some were just silly.

As we wind up September, I would like to thank all those who contributed, you know who you are [Dmg]

If you would like to continue this thread under a changed name please let you opinions be known and we'll take it under consideration.

For now, it's bed time for Bonzo as I work for a living and get up pretty early for my daily commute into Chi-town.
