Why I deleted my Facebook account
If you are a member of Facebook today and love it to death read no further I cannot save you...

“...most men and women will grow up to love their servitude and will never dream of revolution.”
Aldous Huxley, Brave New World

If you have questions about it read on...

Facebook is a tool to pacify the masses and make us all think a certain way, a politically correct way.

“Most human beings have an almost infinite capacity for taking things for granted.”
Aldous Huxley, Brave New World

We are selectively bombarded with ads designed to steer us in a certain direction, to think about certain ideas to buy certain products, and have certain beliefs...

“I'd rather be myself," he said. "Myself and nasty. Not somebody else, however jolly.”
Aldous Huxley, Brave New World

With me so far, here is how insidious Facebook is, it is programed to dumb us down in much the same way as Aldous Huxley, Brave New World and it is an electronic soma, the mind control drug used to dumb down the people until they no longer care about their world.

“A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful executive of political bosses and their army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced, because they love their servitude.”
Aldous Huxley, Brave New World

There my friends is Facebook in a nutshell, slavery to the idea that when I wake up I have to see what has happened to my "friends", I have to log in and read the preprogrammed news, I have to play my games, farm my farm, crush the candy, move forward in a never ending quest for the end of the road...

“There was a thing called Heaven; but all the same they used to drink enormous quantities of alcohol."
...
"There was a thing called the soul and a thing called immortality."
...
"But they used to take morphia and cocaine."
...
"Two thousand pharmacologists and biochemists were subsidized in A.F. 178."
...
"Six years later it was being produced commercially. The perfect drug."
...
"Euphoric, narcotic, pleasantly hallucinant."
...
"All the advantages of Christianity and alcohol; none of their defects."
...
"Take a holiday from reality whenever you like, and come back without so much as a headache or a mythology."
...
"Stability was practically assured.”
Aldous Huxley, Brave New World

I have to share every event in my life with people who would never bleed for me or even bury me. If have to share pictures of my face to the most sophisticated biometric search engines known to man, and record my weight, my health, my eating habits, my loves, my hates, everyone I know and come in contact with, all my innermost feelings and desires heaped into some computer somewhere where all this data is processed and turned into gigabytes of information on how to control me...

“And that," put in the Director sententiously, "that is the secret of happiness and virtue — liking what you've got to do. All conditioning aims at that: making people like their unescapable social destiny.”
Aldous Huxley, Brave New World

I have rebelled against the system, I deleted my facebook account and became the savage again...

“All right then," said the Savage defiantly, "I'm claiming the right to be unhappy.”
Aldous Huxley, Brave New World

Rise up delete your accounts and become what we were meant to be...

“..there is always soma, delicious soma, half a gramme for a half-holiday, a gramme for a week-end, two grammes for a trip to the gorgeous East, three for a dark eternity on the moon...”

The real question I have is how else are they spying on me...

“I know quite well that one needs ridiculous, mad situations like that; one can't write really well about anything else. Why was that old fellow such a marvelous propaganda technician? Because he had so many insane, excruciating things to get excited about. You've got to be hurt and upset; otherwise you can't think of the really good, penetrating, X-rayish phrases.”

Re: Why I deleted my Facebook account
and I have made real friends on facebook. They are all far away, but they are my real friends, and yes, they HAVE helped me out and I have helped some of my friends out.

but I don't play any of the video games. When I was more active on facebook, I didn't even use it 'right'..the way that it was 'intended' to be. I would sometimes even get prevented from posting links to articles I had read or pictures I had taken when posting from certain locations and what would come up is that I was doing it too much!

They DON'T WANT YOU THINKING ON IT. They want you to use it the way THEY want it used, and will continuously direct and point it out to you, and yes I noticed it. Nowadays Ijust use it to share a scenic picture now and then and keep in touch with friends and that's about it. I realized that all the news I was sharing and the opinions I had were draining the very life out of me and I wasn't seeing that it was actually ever doing any good.

it was just feeding into the loosh machine.

and if I'm going to do that today, might as well TRY to make it good loosh, anyway, because other people siphon off that shit too.

Re: Why I deleted my Facebook account
FB collects not only the messages, emails and texts of thier account holders--remember pinning your mobile phone number to "verify" your account, but it also collects every picture of you that you or others submit and tags.

Facial recognition anyone?

Your mobile number is now connected. You have no idea who or what gets whatever you have on your phone, or you recieve, or you send.

Throw it away--write down the numbers you want to keep.

Get a dumb phone and pay for it with cash, and use a monthly unlimited everything service like Straighttalk. $45/month. Buttloads cheaper than all the other services.

Get in the habit of NOT toting it with you every second of the day--the mic and camera can be turned on remotely, without your knowledge.

Consider dumping all social media--it is purely cointelpro--its how they track you. If you must use social media ONLY do it from a dummy box, with a legacy that is not YOURS(pawnshop) BIG BROTHER/SISTER is watching everything you do, but there are ways you can mitigate it.

See here:
Thread: Want to "UNSEND" an EMAIL? TEXT MESSAGE?----> HERE'S HOW

Its a choice--be naked to the world--or learn privacy in the age of electronic theft.

Once you've created a Facebook account, it can never be "deleted". It can be hidden from view, however Facebook reserves the right to hold your information and pictures in their database. Once in, you can never come out.

My ex-girlfriend created an account for me after I broke up with her. She posted all the pictures she had of me with my real name and info about me. She added slander to it as well, stating the I had several STD's, a woman beater, gay, etc. It was a nightmare for a while. I was able to get the page removed but took a LONG time.

I've never had it! I can see when I talk to people how they are different through using Facebook, and they have no idea. Slang words they use in real life because they are used to it online ("No worries!") and sophisticated "opinions" (that are obviously too redic for anyone to have put that much thought into) on everything! Everyone has the same jealousy masked in "goals" and are miserably trying to find a way to affirm themselves (while sitting on their ass literally doing nothing but button pushing). You are better off without it!

No problemo...

“Actual happiness always looks pretty squalid in comparison with the overcompensations for misery. And, of course, stability isn't nearly so spectacular as instability. And being contented has none of the glamour of a good fight against misfortune, none of the picturesqueness of a struggle with temptation, or a fatal overthrow by passion or doubt. Happiness is never grand.”

Deleted mine a while back. After seeing friend #7 get divorced, I had seen enough.

I'm happily married.

I don't miss the narcissistic behavior or the time wasted on it.

If you're happily married, stay away. I used to get hit on all the time. People don't care if you're married. They just want what they want and assume if you're on there you're not happy in your marriage or relationship.

I only have a few real friends, don't miss all the "acquaintances" and nonsense.

I feel free now. So glad I was one of the lucky ones who didn't succumb to temptation.
