And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (heb 9:22) But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house (matt 9:6) seems contradicting don't you think? jesus forgave sins BEFORE the shedding of blood.

He forgave Old Testament saints and they went to Paradise instead of Hades because they were waiting for the sacrifice to be completed. Then, while Lord Jesus was gone before He rose from the dead, He went and gathered those people in Paradise and took them to Heaven where they can live with Father and Lord Jesus forever. God can do anything. Nothing is impossible with God. You have to believe. Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as Righteousness. Faith. Christard and Lover of God

Quoting: BunBun read the OP, he forgave the sins of an old sick person, not an OT saint. how had he done that if he didn't shed his blood on the cross yet?
