Not sure why my AC# changed, but I think I know what I need to know.

I will try AC's idea because if they lay eggs then I am entirely entitled to the eggs, and these are absolutely covered in all ways under common law, I think you all would agree in the court of GLP.

If the bird invadeth my zone, layeth egg, and scat, perhaps in the egg laying I shall be compensated for the romas lost.

That I have ten thousand romas is irrelevant.Hmm well not to the angels I guess, hehe, but hey, to the law, it is irrelevant how many roma I have, if I lost one, I lost one, period.

How many eggs = one roma?

A fair question.

Hmm, I would easily trade five roma for one egg.

That seems fair enough. My hens sometimes seek out odd places to lay. An inviting box or milk crate often seems preferable to laying in the same old nest box back in the coop.

If your neighbor has a fruit tree with fruit-laden branches hanging on your side of the fence, you are within the law to pick such fruit that has invaded your space. If the neighbor doesn't want to share his tree's bounty, he can prune his tree so it no longer inconveniences you.

Or, he could contain his chickens so they don't plunder your romas. If you walk out and find three eggs in a milk crate next to your shed, enjoy them. Just remember if of questionable origin or age, put them on a bowl and cover with water. If they sink, they are good. If they float, throw them onto the compost pile.

Wow.

Can someone please gift Crunch all their karma, I mean this post was sublime.

I mean, IU am gonna take a break here and let the thread roll, I need to make dinner anyway.

Thanks Crunch, when you tell me they sometimes PREFER laying in odd places, a light went on, they are seeking new horizons and new places, for the moneyball.

I would say an egg is easily worth two bucks, in terms of its true value, it's a damn fine meal. With toast of course.

Crunch you make bread? I have two breamkers, I got both of them rolling the other day, AWESOME, I goit them for 15 bucks each used.
