Wow.

Can someone please gift Crunch all their karma, I mean this post was sublime.

I mean, IU am gonna take a break here and let the thread roll, I need to make dinner anyway.

Thanks Crunch, when you tell me they sometimes PREFER laying in odd places, a light went on, they are seeking new horizons and new places, for the moneyball.

I would say an egg is easily worth two bucks, in terms of its true value, it's a damn fine meal. With toast of course.

Crunch you make bread? I have two breamkers, I got both of them rolling the other day, AWESOME, I goit them for 15 bucks each used.

I need to go out and water what's left of my garden.

Yes, my hens have perfectly nice nest boxes in their coop they lay in most of the time. In fact, most of them prefer to use the same box and will wait in line impatiently to lay in that one box.

I generally let them out of the coop to range around and eat bugs for a few hours after I get home from work. They put themselves to bed when it gets dark.

Sometimes (weekends) I will let them out of the coop in the morning and they run amuck all day. That's when they get creative in finding places to lay. I once found a cache of 20+ eggs in a wheelbarrow I had filled with cuttings the previous fall but never got around to burning.

Sly, they are.

I haven't done much with bread, but do have a breadmaker. Remind me on a rainy day (if we ever see one, LOL)
