Yo, OP here

Well I figured I'd update my thread,

Winter now, the garden has frozen

Once I get to October, it's over, I basically go into Winter mode and so I am planning a better chicken trap/box with straw for next year.

Essentially, that god damned chicken trampled all my tomatoes,she was a complete asshole.

I had a foot wide chicken tromping path through my maters.

However, overall the year was good and all of us are mostly better friends and neighbors with each other as ever.

But I will be catching that fucking chicken in the Spring, she wrecked my garden and owes me some eggs. I will not try to collect from my neighbor, he is a good man and has no idea what his chicken did.
