Could this be a new way of manifesting stuff that actually works?
This might seem a little crazy but I think I’ve stumbled on to a way of doing affirmations that actually seems to work more often than not.

Check out this 2 minute video that demonstrates through muscle testing that "why" affirmations are more effective than regular affirmations:

(2 minutes)

HOW I'VE RECENTLY BEEN WORKING WITH THIS TECHNIQUE: The idea is to phrase the question with a 'why' and let the subconscious, the universe lay out the path. After you phrase the question, it helps if you drop the question and quietly direct your awareness to be still and fill and absorb with pure love.

The way I do that is i imagine standing under a gentle, warm waterfall of pure love and feeling it absorbing into and filling my body. I actually do this often during the day.

The love is always there. It surrounds us always. Call it God's love or whatever you want. It's there but if you don't make a conscious effort to fill with it during the day, nothing much is going to happen.

My view, my experience is that this assists the 'why' affirmation process.

Try playing with it that way and see what happens.

Blessings!

Most affirmation techniques are all about energetically affirming some positive intention or outcome. My experience is that this hardly EVER works.

You can repeat positive affirmations until you’re blue in the face, but your subconscious knows it's BS. It knows that you aren’t rich. It knows that you don’t have a new car, a new house, a new boyfriend, a cure for your cancer.

Re: Could this be a new way of manifesting stuff that actually works?
On the other hand: if you frame your affirmation as a “Why” question, your subconscious seems to grab on to it and goes right to work trying to figure out how to ‘solve’ it.

Here’s are some examples:

Why does money come to me so easily?
Why is my problem with ________ completely resolved?
Why do I feel such inner peace?
Why am I always surrounded by a bubble of protection?
Why is my _______ completely healed?

Try this experiment:

Close your eyes. Say to yourself "Why do I feel such inner peace?" Keep your eyes closed for a while.

How does that make you feel? Can you tell the difference? Most people I've shared this with say that sure enough, it makes them feel good - like an endorphin rush or something.

Bottom line:

1) Try repeating one or more "why" affirmations during the day. Come up with your own affirmations. See how it makes you feel. Notice any changes. Post your results. Teach the technique to others.

2) Check out this 2 minute video that proves through muscle testing that "why" affirmations are more effective than regular affirmations:

I’ll try to answer questions and post new affirmations (or afformations, as the author refers to them) when I have time.

Good luck!

PS: The person who originated this type of affirmation is Noah St John. He's calls this type of affirmations: "afformations."

So far, my experience doing this is that it mainly feels good to do - to say the 'why' affirmations. So my experience is that just by saying them, something happens and my mood shifts to a more positive state. I have to say that's not a bad start and actually a pretty powerful measure of success on its own.

Re: Could this be a new way of manifesting stuff that actually works?
The muscle testing in the video (at the top of this thread) tells me a lot:

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

I've had muscle testing done on me quite a few times. Among other things, it can be a pretty accurate truth/lie detector. There was a time when I was more dubious about muscle testing. But now it's too much in my face to deny it.

My wife and I muscle tested some of our friends who we've shared the "why" affirmations with.

Results so far: when a person voices an affirmation starting with "Why" , their arm muscles are stronger. When the person voices an affirmation in the usual way without "why", their arm muscles are weaker.

Interesting, and I can see how it could be helpful, thanks.

Sort of the flip side of also recognizing when a source isn't coming from within. Like asking yourself why you feel a certain way and realizing that the body is reacting and the emotion is responding to the body.

.

Both can have practical applications for me. I know the one I have stated has, and I will ask the 'why' question in a positive sense to see what can be created that way.

It does help to have discernment to be able to recognize messages that are not internal as well as the ones that are.

great post, greater questions lead to better ways.?
Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. Re: Could this be a new way of manifesting stuff that actually works?
Actually, well done affirmations completely annihilate any affOrmations (questions).

Questions do not pressure the subconscious min into accepting the new 'truth', at all. They have a very quick initial effect but go completely down hill from there, while well made affirmations do the opposite and work better in the long run.

Also, for subliminal messages it is better to do affirmations exactly for the same reason. Questions do not pressure you into becoming a new person, you feel too at ease.

The problem of it all is doing affirmations the right way, if you only lie to yourself your subconscious mind will resist the affirmation. You need to seduce the subconscious mind but that takes a special kind of person to do. That's why there are only 2 or 3 good subliminal producers in the world, the rest completely suck.

Here's a well made affirmation I just did and is running on mindmaster software:

I now let go of, clear, dissolve, disconnect from and utterly destroy any and all forms, signs and symptoms of fear, shame, guilt, tension, nervousness, stress and anxiety, and immediately, permanently, and successfully replace it with powerful anxiolytic and anti-depressant feelings that make me feel ultra focused, joyful, self confident, cool, collected, and composed, under any, and all circumstances.

Exactly. And maybe that 'feel good' sensation from doing the afformations is from the subconscious perception of 'wish fulfilled'.

No. I have a notebook in which I offer thanks and gratitude for what I am given, and that which will come to pass. It works well for me. Gratitude comes from the heart, and carries with it a power and sincerity that affirmations alone do not. I do not have to fool my subconscious mind because it already believes in what I am putting down.

This method both communicates what I want, and offers thanks for what I receive. I like that dual aspect. I feel like it is more of a communication; helping the Universe/God set your path forward by saying "yes, more of this" after you receive something, rather than simply making a statement of will/intent.

I utilize other methods too, but this is my favourite.

Whatever floats your boat... whatever works for you. That's all I meant.

Thanks. Yes - discernment is always a good thing. In this case i think it's important to use good discernment in picking just the right affirmation for whatever it is you want to manifest.

From a Christian mystic, he says the secret to manifesting is starting this phrase,

"Wouldn't it be nice if...."

This way, you're subconscious won't sabotage, and you can freely imagine / create.
