On the 28th the moon will be the closest it's been since March, 2011.
the week preceeding and following a bloodmoon are speculated to have greater chances of a big one....the big quake in 2011 Japan that caused the tsunami was followed by a bloodmoon a week later.
Quoting: T. Servo Fukushima was a 6.6 magnitude - hardly the largest the Earth has had, and not really relevant with a Blood Moon. The majority of larger quakes don't correlate with a Blood Moon in weeks. But hey, that's just science. Does anyone have a link for this coming super-quake?
