I do not doubt the assholes would love to do a bio attack. Honestly, I think it is more likely they will fuck up in the process and release the thing on themselves.

With that said, it is still best to NEVER under underestimate you enemy.

They could still go very low tech on the spreading. I do not doubt there are multiple cells here who are willing to infect themselves just so they can spread the crap everywhere.
