ahhhh, I've always wanted to say that....

The screenplay for that movie was predictive programming for what we would experience, but it wasn't intentionally made by the PTB, it was more of a psychic coincidence.

And, of course it was only a taste since that movie revolves around 1 day in which Bill Murray is trapped like an animal in a vicious time loop.

This could all be averted by the time lords, they are friends of the Nancies but they would rather use it as an experiment to see if any humans develop time senses and leak information in conspiracy forums about the time loop. Those people will be abducted to become slaves of the time lords.
