I recall speculating as a child of the 70's "What if Orwell's storyline were to actually unfold? How would we transition from here to there?"

A few years later, when I read about the Georgia Guidestones, I contemplated the possibility and probability of a power-obsessed cabal actually orchestrating global population control and how that might be brought into fruition.

By the nineties, I could see that we were, in fact, heading in that direction as a society, despite advances in commonly accessible technologies. But, my normalcy bias was still mostly in tact.

A few years later, we had edged close enough that I could now smell it. But, I struggled diligently to retain optimism while still fatuously grasping the tattered remnants of my normalcy bias.

Today, it is readily apparent that our society is devolving at an ever-accelerating pace and our technology is being used against us with unquestioned impunity. It seems as though I can now simply reach out and touch it. Hell, it's touching me. It's touching all of us.

Today, it's utter stupidity to even consider that old blithe normalcy bias. Many of us now have the clarity of situational awareness ... to recognize that we're careening into oblivion ... while simultaneously being smothered and strangled ... as we're relentlessly badgered into digging our own graves.

We ask ourselves "Why didn't I do more? How can I stop this?".

Remember the Frog Boil Theory? Most folks bemuse that the boiling water killed the frog. But, the few of us who truly understand, realize that the truth about what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when it had to jump out.

Our time to jump is nigh!
