Did he get shot seven times in the toes or the butt, because that pic basically shows no injuries.

The gun in the shooters pix is a ruger 10/22.

It's a 22lr. Factory mags are 10 and 25 rd. capacity.

Probably what he used. If it was an "Assault Rifle" The MSM would be all over it.

The 2 cops who went in without back up are also hero's.

My point of this thread is to take away from the attention that the shooting bastard is getting and to focus on the real heroes.

Thank you for adding and I agree.

"A heroic student charged at the Oregon college shooter and was shot seven times as he tried to save his classmates, his family said.

Army veteran Chris Mintz, 30, was taken to hospital following the massacre at Umpqua Community College on Thursday morning.

His cousin Derek Bourgeois told DailyMail.com that Mintz faced Chris Harper-Mercer, 26, who killed at least 10 people at the school in Roseburg."

This and other heroes from yesterday is who the media should be concentrating on, but they won't.

This is the ultimate sacrifice one can do. I probably would have done the same. I am just saddened that he wasn't able to dodge those sequence of events and overtake the shooter. To the family....I am sorry for your loss.

From what I can tell the Daily Mail is reporting that Chris is recuperating in the hospital.

Yesterday was Chris' sons 6th birthday and I am grateful that his son didn't lose his hero father on his birthday.

Why don't ppl ignore the gun free stipulations? I mean, you could conceal carry secretly without anybody noticing, right? I would just do it. If anything happens like this event, and you save the day, so what are they going to do? Sue you? I don't think so.

Wondered the same thing but then heard the opening of buck sexton's show and he said there are federal laws governing this and mandated jail time so it's nothing to fool around with.

Had a friend who went to college in DC. The first thing they were told at their first student meeting was that the laws of DC are not normal laws, everything in DC is considered a federal crime so they were told they had to be on their best behavior.
