Stands on the ruins of two earlier churches. Wonder if the history is connected to giants?

Ahhhh animal giant

thighbone of a mastodon that was discovered in 1443 when digging the foundation for the north tower and later hung over the gate.

Wasn't speaking of Catholics, but sites. It was discovered under it was a cemetery that dates back to at least the 300's.
So older church was probably there along the river.
Maybe traces of the Slavs that had traveled along the Danube river from the Black sea through the black forest westward.
Goes back to maybe 500bc know as the "bright or fair village, white settlement"

So that’s why statue of Mary stood out. The catacombs. That’s really off putting to descriptions of ancient information. Same as monad philosophy of unification like heavens causing hells. Shows they do not know anything about structure or they do and it is purposefully misleading.

In the past people believed that giants (not dinosaurs or mastodons) lived on the Earth (which was believed to be flat in that time) before great flood came. As a result, dinosaur or mastodon bones were considered bones of giants and were kept in churches as relics, including the case of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, hence the gate’s name.

Together with the adjacent Heathen Towers (Heidentürme) the Giant’s Gate is the oldest part of the Stephansdom still standing. It was built around 1230 in the Late Romanesque style with unusually rich ornamentation.

Heathen Towers
The two Heathen Towers, also referred to as Roman Towers, were also built in Romanesque style. Their name recalls the fact that they were built from the ruins of old structures built in the time of Ancient Rome. Like the Riesentor the Heathen Towers were parts of the church that occupied the site of today’s St. Stephen’s Cathedral in the 13th century. Both towers are 66 metres (215 ft) high. Their ground plans are rectangular, but alter to octagonal from the third story upwards.

Heathen Tower Bells
There are six bells hanging in the North Heathen Tower. All of them are still operating and serve as working bells for St. Stephen’s Cathedral. They ring regularly for evening prayers and also ring toll for funerals. Five of the six bells were cast in 1772 and are mostly named according to their original uses: Kanterin (calling the cantors to Mass); Bieringerin (last call at Viennese pubs); Poor Souls (funerals); Feringerin (High Mass on Sundays); Churpötsch (donated to St. Stephen’s by the local curia in honour of the Maria Pötsch icon in the Cathedral); and Feuerin (cast in 1859 and originally used as fire alarm). Several bells used to hang in the South Heathen Tower, but they were destroyed in the big fire in 1945.

So they utilized what they called heathen structures meaning already built before they arrived. Why reuse structures especially if for a sacred place from what they call not sacred materials? As that causes naturally to be deconsecrated no matter the consecrations done(per view)

Rant away. There is something about ley lines that were desecrated by wonky builders. Those spaces can be purified. The buildings don't have to burn down physically to do it. There is beauty in them. The love the parishioners had for God to support the construction in some ways can overcome the energy manipulation.

When I was in the basilica last week it was the same feeling as the reps from Canada felt when they met with Pope. All this opulence that could have been put to better use. Smiled looking up at the gilded architecture. Shook my head smiling in a sense of loss. Walked down several levels of stairs to basement chapel with the stunning contrast cold, dark and dim.

Upstairs felt the urge to sing. Didn't want to disturb the few in the pews. There was a man at back in ratty old man clothes. He went out before us taking the elevator down. He was standing at back as we came in. Almost asked him if he minded if I sang. He turns around smiles and winks and says "well hello again" and left.

I went to front saw the two sons in dying and death. Put down my stuff. Got on my knees before cold Mary and sang nearer my god to thee which is a song that is meant to prepare for death, sang it to my mother while preparing her body for her passing. While anointing her in a way was being taught from within. When I was finished before cold Mary I burst out in tears "please helps us! Please make this stop." Started rocking back and forth. Almost put my head on the floor. Something yanked me back. "Don't you dare put your head on that floor. Do not offer yourself. That's not your job."

Didn't hit me until later how much the man both upstairs and downstairs reminded me of my father in this life.

Sorry this is long. Personal. Hope it helps with some understanding. How we can heal both ourselves and the places we live near in one moment without having to physically destroy either. Mercy Merci.

No, that was beautiful. Glad you listened to your instincts. Yes, we don’t have to move them to heal the locations physically. Acute awareness overcomes energy manipulation naturally. It doesn’t matter if preaching to the trees or stone or man made structures, it is just the doorway for the realm to hear.
Yes, destroy in order to recreate is the mantra of those that desecrated through energy manipulation and that is perversion of actual creation and the act of creation.

I had a weird dream. It was a huge pool of water with people playing on the surface. But I was looking for something at the bottom that was lost. The pool was really deep. So the people playing at the pool decided to drain it to see what was at the bottom. What was found was interesting. There was secret rooms where people lived behind the deep walls at the bottom. And some were still down there living.

This one. 2020 in 2013. The three beings I think mention later was very sophisticated technology within a stone room. The human men though down there locked in their stone room was not so sophisticated but rather in their own filth and all men. I found that odd on the trail at the time. Now. Not so much lol

Going through huge mound builder territory this past week has brought up the legends of the entities within the structures.

I wrote a little about it last year around this time when I went to the reservation.

Funny enough, their dress and language was what distinguished them apart from nopes that lived around the mounds. One appeared out of no where to drive back the enemy and the rest appeared pouring out of the mounds. The were called the Immortals. Nunehi by tribes. They could become invisible. When finished with their task they go back into the side of the mounds.

 Quoting: Fancypantz

There's legends of them, cool! Ty. Did you write about them in this thread?

"A well-known story tells about a man named Yahula, who had become separated from a hunting party. His friends searched for him for a long time but eventually gave up and returned to their village, grieving for Yahula, whom they believed was dead. The Nunnehi found Yahula and brought him back to their townhouse to live with them. Yahula became immortal and lived with the Nunnehi for a long time until he began to miss his friends and family. One night Yahula went back to his village to see his friends and family, and he told them what had happened. When they asked Yahula to eat dinner with them, he said he could not, for he had eaten the food of the Nunnehi and could never again eat human food. He told them he had only come back to visit and that he would soon be returning to the Nunnehi. His friends and family begged him to stay, but he refused, telling them he could not choose death with his own people over immortality with the Nunnehi. Yahula then returned to the Nunnehi, but he continued to visit the Cherokee often."

This really stood out for me cause a giant denier, lol, on the 1833 thread is going on and on arguing against giants but it seems that poster's only point is that no giant fossilized feces have been found. I've been thinking 'so what, maybe they didn't 'eat' and/or digest food like we do?'.

Etymology of "God" came up the other day, looking for the written origin.

"god (n.)
also God; Old English god "supreme being, deity; the Christian God; image of a god; godlike person," from Proto-Germanic *guthan (source also of Old Saxon, Old Frisian, Dutch god, Old High German got, German Gott, Old Norse guð, Gothic guþ), which is of uncertain origin; perhaps from PIE *ghut- "that which is invoked" (source also of Old Church Slavonic zovo "to call," Sanskrit huta- "invoked," an epithet of Indra), from root *gheu(e)- "to call, invoke."

But some trace it to PIE *ghu-to- "poured," from root *gheu- "to pour, pour a libation" (source of Greek khein "to pour," also in the phrase khute gaia "poured earth," referring to a burial mound; see found (v.2)). "Given the Greek facts, the Germanic form may have referred in the first instance to the spirit immanent in a burial mound" [Watkins]. See also Zeus. In either case, not related to good.

Popular etymology has long derived God from good; but a comparison of the forms ... shows this to be an error. Moreover, the notion of goodness is not conspicuous in the heathen conception of deity, and in good itself the ethical sense is comparatively late. [Century Dictionary, 1897]

Originally a neuter noun in Germanic, the gender shifted to masculine after the coming of Christianity. Old English god probably was closer in sense to Latin numen. A better word to translate deus might have been Proto-Germanic *ansuz, but this was used only of the highest deities in the Germanic religion, and not of foreign gods, and it was never used of the Christian God. It survives in English mainly in the personal names beginning in Os-."

[link to www.etymonline.com (secure)]

"Old English- the earliest form of the English language was spoken and written in Anglo-Saxon Britain from c. 450 CE until 1250 CE(about 1100-1250 is considered "Early Middle English" however Old English was still in use)

Numen (plural numina) is a Latin term for "divinity", "divine presence", or "divine will." The Latin authors defined it as follows:[1] Cicero writes of a "divine mind" (divina mens), a god "whose numen everything obeys," and a "divine power" (vis divina) "which pervades the lives of men." It causes the motions and cries of birds during augury.[2] In Virgil's recounting of the blinding of the one-eyed giant, Polyphemus, from the Odyssey, in his Aeneid, he has Odysseus and his men first "ask for the assistance of the great numina" (magna precati numina).[3] Reviewing public opinion of Augustus on the day of his funeral, the historian Tacitus reports that some thought "no honor was left to the gods" when he "established the cult of himself" (se ... coli vellet) "with temples and the effigies of numina" (effigie numinum).[4] Pliny the younger in a letter to Paternus raves about the "power," the "dignity," and "the majesty;" in short, the "numen of history."[5] Lucretius uses the expression numen mentis,[6] or "bidding of the mind,"[7] where "bidding" is numen, not, however, the divine numen, unless the mind is to be considered divine, but as simply human will.

Hathor (Coptic: Hathōr), also known as Athyr (Greek: Athýr) and Hatur[1] is the third month of the ancient Egyptian and Coptic calendars. It lies between November 10 and December 9 of the Gregorian calendar. The month of Hathor is also the third month of the season of Akhet (Inundation) in Ancient Egypt, when the Nile floods historically covered the land of Egypt; they have not done so since the construction of the High Dam at Aswan.

Her husband was Tegid Foel and they lived near Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid) in north Wales. Medieval Welsh poetry refers to her as possessing the cauldron of poetic inspiration (Awen) and the Tale of Taliesin recounts her swallowing her servant Gwion Bach who is then reborn through her as the poet Taliesin. Ceridwen is regarded by many modern pagans as the Celtic goddess of rebirth, transformation, and inspiration.

If wen is not a corruption of either of these, then it may derive from the adjective gwyn (fem. gwen), meaning "fair", "beloved", "blessed", or "sacred". Wen is sometimes suffixed to the names of female saints (e.g. Dwynwen).[4] In 19th century literature and etymology the name Ket, Ked and variants were assumed to relate to the goddess Ceridwen.

Keds is an American brand of canvas shoes with rubber soles. Founded in 1916,[1] the company is owned by Wolverine World Wide.

In 1916, U.S. Rubber consolidated 30 different shoe brand names to create one company. Initially, the brand name "Peds" was chosen for the company from the Latin word for feet, but the name was already trademarked. Keds was founded in 1916 and was acquired by Stride Rite Corporation in 1979.[4][5] Because the shoes had a soft rubber sole, they became known as sneakers as the rubber soles allowed "sneaking around silently".
