News sites disabling comments

They don't want the truth to be seen

Yes, they are. KKTV in colorado springs does not have a place for comments on their website anymore. I hate that...

CNN disabled, DailyBeast, many others. They say "Leave a comment on social networks" ... Okay, like anyone is going to do that. They don't want people seeing the truth, just listen to their narrative and be a good boy.

all major social media is fixed when it comes to politics. youtube, fb, news... They will leave a few weak arguments in opposition as to not be obvious, but the votes are all rigged or capped.

If you leave it on social networks, they can track and troll you if you are against them. That is how it works. Cyber Bullying in the political arena.

Yes, some sites won't even let you delete your account or comments anymore. The "Elite" are nothing but cowards.

I was watching cspan maybe about two weeks ago. The host, Getchen, Greta or something like that, was taking only calls from Democrats. Granted they are slick, often calling in on the Republican line. Well, a guy calls in on the Democrat line and proceeds to tell her the reason he was calling in on the Dem line but a Republican was because when he would call the on the R line, he would get disconnected, and this happened several times to him.

Watch this woman, her smugness, body language to callers. Even cspan has gone south.

I keep reading these anti-Trump articles, where they completely misquote something he says, or flat out lie. And I want to leave a comment about it, but it's always disabled. Only a few sites have comment section now.

Professional news sites don't want their comments sections flooded with tinfoil hat nutbaggery. I can't blame them.

I usually read the headline and the first paragraph or so to get the jist of the story, then scroll down and read the comments for the real story. If there are no comments I don't bother with the story.

Hmm good idea, hadn't thought about that. It's like they make you angry on purpose, then remove the way to vent your anger. This forces the narrative on people in a whole new way. The people's voice is completely taken away.

The reason they are doing this is because they have SEEN the comments and realized people aren't buying their BS anymore, so they want to shut it down for fear of consolidation and action counter to their (news sites) narrative.

Yep yahoo also for most part although they have started using links to other sites too.
As for using social media to comment, they know people want privacy with comments and so few will use it etc.

Soon it will be forumes. Then later it will be emails. Then your texts will be censored.

I would love for someone to try and troll me on facebook.

I love arguing. I could do it all day long and I do it well. Sometimes I stir up an argument just for entertainment.

Hey numbnuts, comments aren't supposed to be "scrutinized" at all. I'm pretty sure there's something in the constitution about that.

Censorship is their game. We are essentially Soviet Russia right now. Freedom of speech does not exist.
