News sites disabling comments

the other day during the Popes speeches I watched.. how YOUTUBE would disable comments real time. I mean some comments will appear during the live chat as normal but others would not even show and it would say. "this comment has been disable" and that what on a "Live feed". I was shocked to be honest.

They are scared, they see their profession slipping away, I mean why do we need them, we on this site can watch actual footage of a Russian air strike in Syria in like 3 minutes after it happens, MSM will be 3 hours later saying they can't confirm that Russia is even in the country, youtube, twitter, etc is light years ahead of them, then they have to censor all broadcasts to be sure it meets their "agenda"...

The MSM deserves to die.
It is bringing about its own demise by insisting on offering us propaganda instead of news.
As more and more people wake up and reject that, their viewship/readership declines.

I've noticed. It isn't hard to comprehend. It simply means that the majority opinion isn't in line with what the news sites want to see.

Major news networks only promote (allow the public to see) things that are inline with the opinion they are supporting.

Be aware of this and please, keep thinking for yourself. The higher goal of modern news sites is to mold the thinking of the public. Not to provide the news as it really is. They have fallen victim to ratings and other B.S. that weakens the moral purpose of newscasters. They aren't much better than Hollywood now. Which explains why the presidential election process is such a circus now. It's insane.

Some people in comments added personal knowledge of news item and offered links to better sites with more in depth information.

Localy in the Seattle area, comments can no longer be left on KOMOTV news site. All comments are also gone if you look up old articles. Then on KING5 news site, you can click comment, but it makes you long in and leave a comment on the Facebook page.

They'll have to bring them back because of the low audience views. Yahoo News did this about seven years ago and they had to bring back the comments section.

I agree. They'll let you comment about celebrities or sports, but good luck talking about anything of significance. Plus I'm not on facebook or other sites and I can't comment on half the stuff I want to like gun control or immigration policy. What Drudge said during his interview yesterday made a lot of sense to me.

I never trust a source that doesn't allow comments.
