Re: Trump only has TEN full time staffers in Iowa.... There are 1,682 precincts. (OFFICIAL THREAD FOR CURRENT TRUMP VOLUNTEERS)
A critical thing usually overlooked by Republicans is the concept of physically GETTING PEOPLE TO THE POLLS.

I have seen Democrats do this with success and I have seen Republicans turn up their noses at it.

Volunteers are needed in each precinct to call registered Republicans (with emphasis on Trump supporters) and ask if they need a ride to the polling place. Make a list, chart out routes, call back and make an APPOINTMENT to pick them up.

There are voters with disabilities, young mothers with kids, older people who don't get around very well, etc who really appreciate this. Voters in rural areas like it, too.

Providing vans or buses to senior citizen housing gets a good turnout. Co-ordinate with housing mgr and put a sign-up poster out.

In a caucus state especially, this could make a real difference.

That was exaxtcly what I did for early voting in Florida in 2008. I was driving black people (they voted "right", it rhymes, get it right) to the polls and I was... I found a new weed hook up, I did a line of coke, I'm not going to lie - I was that 24 year old who wanted tickets to the Inaugural Ball. I let them smoke in my car.

Yet I got them to the polls and made sure they voted. You would have been surprised how many older black males in the south view Democrats as "welfare Dads" - was the word they used.

And by the way Biden and Hillary dont even have a ground team yet..
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67372720

Touche.

Yet Hillary's ground team is every local DEC HQ, every county has a County DEC (Democratic Executive Committee) like the one poster said above, Democrats sure do know how to get people to the polls - Hillary is just "assuming" the local Democrat HQ's will just become "Hillary HQs" -

But, Touche none the less. However, every other GOP candidate has a ground game. Even Perry who dropped out had more than Trump in Iowa or NH.

Donald J. Trump announces South Carolina Steering Committee

Grassroots Committee shows growing support across state

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Today, Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced an extensive South Carolina Steering Committee. The rapidly growing list includes over 100 members from across the state and represents a cross-section of well-known fiscal and social conservatives.

Team Trump's South Carolina support staff includes Ed McMullen and John Russell as co-chairman, Rep. Jim Merrill as State Director, and experienced campaign veterans James Epley, Gerri McDaniel, Gavin Smith, and Jeff Taillon.

“Since Donald Trump announced that he is running for President we have been overwhelmed by the enthusiastic support. The campaign is off to a fast start and we couldn’t be more excited,” said State co-Chairman Ed McMullen. “Voters across South Carolina recognize that this country needs someone, like Donald Trump, who can Make America Great Again!”

Trump's plain-spoken analysis of the American political landscape is dominating the media and resonating with voters.

“In response to the constant attacks and mischaracterizations by the liberal media and political insiders, grassroots support for Donald Trump has been increasing by the hour,” said State Director Jim Merrill.

Merrill continued, "When you threaten the Washington D.C. elite’s way of life they’re going to attack, but with Donald Trump’s leadership and the support of people across South Carolina and the country we can make Washington work for the people and not the other way around. Americans want the truth and Donald Trump is the only candidate with the guts to say it."

Mr. Trump's announcement of his steering committee precedes his next visit to the state on Tuesday, July 21st at Sun City residential development in the town of Bluffton, S.C.

"This is just the first stage of building our statewide network and grassroots organization," said Merrill. “We now have staff and contacts that are both geographically and ideologically dispersed throughout the state. Our goal is to build on that organization and re-define the political establishment in South Carolina in a manner that culminates with a victory in the Republican presidential primary."

Funny you said that - if you googled "Donald Trump Donations" the first thing that came up does/is (maybe still?) on google "Trump least charitable Billionaire" - all bullshit of course, and of course in his tweet they lead off him not mentioning it. As in his announcement of donating $20 million (which, if you think about it, he didn't spend any money, it's a tax write off) - But, regardless, the MSM ignored it.

I do think that Trump should be trying to put together some kind of organizations in the states. Just because you're popular doesn't mean you don't need boots on the ground to keep the real crooks honest - that's how they steal elections. I don't think he has any organization in Massachusetts for ex.

I think the OP is sincere. A little odd, and maybe of a checkered past, but he seems to be legitimately concerned. I can't say I really understand all of this, however.
Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.
