Flowers Of Fukushima: Deformed Daisies Grow Near Nuclear Plant

Two years ago we marveled at the mutant vegetables being grown near the Fukushima plant. These produce took genetic engineering to a whole new level as they appeared with lumps, bumps and tumors all over them. Many put it down to the high levels radiation found in the soil.

However, we never quite got to the bottom of whether it was a special Fukushima variety and then many claimed the pictures could have been doctored.

Similarly ‘mutant’ daisies have appeared near the nuclear disaster site and have been posted by @san_kaido on social media, sending them viral.
