at least i am honest about what i think.

if i actually said something ban worthy, youd think i would be told what it was and why it was wrong.

i may not always be the most "pc" person, but i am not disrespectful.

There is no Oct. 21st doom.

i would hope that is not why i was banned, but how could i know anyways?

i can be counted on to state the truth as i see it. if what i know is wrong and you can set me right with facts and evidence that is fine by me.

but id rather state the truth than have someone "like" me.

Don't feel bad, OP. Everyone gets banned sooner or
later--just the very "impermanent Nature" of the
internet. There are often bans put on a whole area
--like for our town in the NW that happened to me--
and they are done by the actual carrier of your computer
signal and not GLP...Though there aren't any guarantees
about anyone's status here, either. Just take what
comes down the pike.

Sorry this happened to you. When it happened to me
it made me cry, but that's because I'm very sensitive
and took it as a personal rejection. I got over it
in about 4 or 5 weeks. lol!

Keep trying to get back in with the little message
box they give you when you try to sign in. That's
what I did. You just never know.

its just confusing is all. im sorry to hear about your story. i just wonder if it was an accident or what bc i have seen people get warned many times, but i didnt get a warning. makes you wonder.

i figured id just lay it all out there and see what happens.

I was double red karma twice for an abusive post and still don't know what I did wrong and I felt exactly like you..I am never mean or disrespectful ever or at least I thought so anyway but got double red karma again just for asking what it was I said or did and asked where I could find the "rules" but instead of a respectful reply I got another double red karma!

Im sure it was not on Abhie's thread, because his account is blocked and he posts as an ac. Only people with an account can ban you.

There are a couple more threads on Oct 21. You should go there.

Don't let it get to you. Either use Karma for an account (I'm not a fan of the Karma system... you gotta play it if you're not willing to pay $10 a month)

There are ways around this - and from my previous experience... complaining gets you more red just for complaining.

There's no need to defend yourself if you're speaking with truth.

I think if you quote a post that was reported as an abusive post, you can also get the red karma. I could be wrong on that.

Btw...The extent of my doom today was a little boy peed on me at work. He was in the bathroom, he called me, I went running in, he turned to face me and voila. All over my legs!

its my thread but i dont have content to attract people or make it cool or anything. im not trying to complain, i respect the site. im def not interested in naming names or making wild accusations.

i just figured if it was on the front page people would see it and if it was a mistake they would let me know.

yeah the karma system has its pros and cons. it is nice to get a thumb up from someone, and its fun to give them.

ive only received one red and it was basically just some lame-o's attempt to get under my skin.

but to save up the karma to pay for a membership has got to be a full time job lol.

i was banned from a thread i enjoy, like i said above. that is my oct 21 doom.
