He was an actor, literally. He went to acting school. He wasn't a thug, he did what he was told and collected money. And in all honesty, he wasn't the gteat poet everyonw makeshim out to be either. I think he respected women but spoke negatively on "bitches" also most likely told by his record label to do so to stay in the industry, like many rap artists they are "pimped" to maintain relevant.

If you add up all the various videos of this song on youtube, it probably manages to surpass 100 million.
