Did Jesus teach vegetarianism or not? Lets settle this here!

I would like to know. Some opposing arguments i've heard are below in video and text: (Taken from other posters on GLP i read.)

So what is the correct answer here. Seems to be some good points on both sides, though i'm leaning toward him being and teaching the ways of being vegeterian. Please help settle this!!!!!!!

I've heard that as a essene, was a vegan and that he demanded all his followers to be at least vegetarians.
All apostles and earlier christian were vegetarians. Every single one of them!
Jesus wherever he is despise meat eater, and that's why he dont answer their prayers!

Then there's those who say Jesus fed others with fish and that he ate fish. That IS in the Scripture these people say. They say God told Peter to eat meat that believed to be unclean. Why would He do that if He was against eating meat?

Also, Jesus says this?:
John 6: 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them......

What gives?
