The mere fact she proclaimed God told her the South would win the civil war should make the entire conversation null and void in my mind -

Yet, I respect your beliefs - because that is what America is about - However, SDA's, in my mind, have cultish behaviors.

Thanks.

I agreed with ya from the beginning the sda church is an apostate church. Even linked to a site exposing the apostasy.

Your claim on the failed dates for the rapture intrigued me.

they've had 3 different missed dates for when the rapture would happen..

I know the "evangelical" vote is important in Iowa - yet won't they question his Seventh Day Adventist kinda "out there" beliefs?

Where are these people coming from in just the past few weeks?

According to RCP the average of all polls have him +8 -

ever heard of the duggars?

lot's of duggar types in iowa.

I don't think it's just Christians. Iowans think they live in "God's Country", as if it's the best place in the world. Indianans too. But Iowans are worse in that respect. It's mostly farmland growing corn, I think. In between you have a few cities, one with the Iowa State University in Iowa City which would be liberal and another fairly large city which would be liberal. Then you go to the quad cities with heavily Hispanic populations and they are VERY liberal. The liberal Republicans are most likely impressed with Carson's intellect and demeanor. The Hispanics want a person of color though so they may drift from the Democratic Party. Why they didn't choose Rubio, I don't know. The farmers are no doubt for Trump. They are tired of being forced to grow GMO crops. Iowa used to be a red state but that is changing with students moving into the University and then staying in Iowa. Illinois is next door and then Nebraska on the other side, Illinois is blue and Nebraska is becoming blue.

All in all, I think it's the Evangelicals, liberal Republicans, students from the university and some Obama Democrats who like Carson.

Re: Dr. CARSON is up double digits in Iowa - WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
'Mur'cuns, that's who. Lol

You should see all the Ben Carson bumper stickers in Phoenix!

It's like walking into a Walmart -- the REAL 'Mur'cuh between the coasts emerges from their hovels like so many zombies.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63775312

He sends those bumper stickers to people. I have one. I signed an online poll in the beginning about abortion that he put out. He sent me an anti-PP bumper sticker with his name on it. I'm sure if you send him money he sends a bumper sticker. I didn't use the bumper sticker though I can't stand PP. But I'm sure many do. They'll use anything that is easy and they'll love him because he sent them a sticker. It means nothing since there is a whole year until the election. He's everywhere on the internet. I have to say he is energetic though his demeanor doesn't show it.

In the end, I'll probably vote for Trump. But Trump made a mistake in insulting Iowans. You can't insult "God's country".

I shop at Walmart because I'm poor and I've always been a conservative. It's just sad that Central Illinoisans have mush between their ears and are in favor of Bernie. Even people who live around me further north have "Bernie" signs in their windows. I think Illinois is the dumbest state in the country, next to Minnesota.

Iowa is full of nitwits and meth-heads. They don't have many blacks in the state, and are unfamiliar with that culture. They tend to think blacks are just like whites, but with darker skin.

Idk what Iowa you're talking about, but it sure isn't the one i live in.
