We were all wrong. A guy at work mention a Liam Neeson interview. I'll look for a youtube link. He said this is what Neeson said:

Liam Neeson: "I've contracted AIDS."
Interviewer: "How'd you get that?"
Liam Neeson: "From an African prostitute. I'm riddled with it."
