Here is one no one has mentioned: Mickey Rourke.
Could fit the bill perfectly. Lots of wild nights, blood transfusions (due to getting in fights and his boxing career), drugs, looks like crap all of the time, always looks out of it...etc...
Quoting: Artemis Rand Rourke was mentioned a couple of pages back. He definitely fits the bill, but the article seems to imply it's someone more current with a large, maybe younger current following. A lot of young movie fans probably don't even know/remember who Rourke is. Article clearly states actor is middle aged so it would more likely be someone between the ages of 40-50 yrs. of age. Rourke is in his sixties. Isn't Charlie Sheen over 50?
