I am still hurting, but not as bad. I have to go back to the oral surgeon tomorrow for a follow-up.I am having a horrible time trying to eat anything except oatmeal and pudding. I had some Parmesan noodles earlier, and almost choked. I am now down to 90 pounds. :(

It turns out that 3 generations of us are having tooth problems all at once. My middle daughter came over last night when she got off from work, and showed me her molar had cratered on her. The whole middle collapsed on it, and she is really in pain. She has no insurance. I told her to call around to see if anyone can get her in, and for her to apply for "Care Credit", like I did. This was the only way I could get my teeth pulled or fixed. I certainly didn't have $6,900 laying around for dental work. I hated taking a loan, but I had no choice. My middle daughter was going to host Thanksgiving over her house, but not now. :( Everybody is on their own this year, sorta. My husband is going to cook a small turkey, and we will have sides, but no big feast. I will have to be satisfied with soft foods, like sweet potato's, etc.
My mother called me a couple of hours ago, and told me she has not been able to eat for 2 days, as her gums have swelled up terribly because of her upper dentures. She still has all of her bottom teeth. She is going to the dentist tomorrow afternoon.
Just in time for the holidays, everybody's teeth went kaput.
