To call them .the books of scripture. from Genesis to Malachi the OT. is spurious and a lie still perpetrated and condoned by the modern successors of the wicked scribes and Pharisees of YAHshua/Jesus/Joshua's time.
In fact those very scriptures were used first and foremost by the church for the first 300 years from the Lord's resurrection. to prove The authenticity of the new testament in His blood. And then augmented by the further scriptures we call. again in ignorance the new testament. that's is from the Gospels to revelation. For in the scriptures from Matthew to revelation we find exposition of both the old testament and the new testament in His blood.
At the council of jamnia the scribes and Pharisees committed a. sin that the scripture in revelation condemns unreservedly totally and eternally. they changed theWord Of God wholesale. as evidenced by the LXX. the so called masoretic text is damnable lies deceits and heresy in many key areas that now make up so called doctrines of the so called established churches.
The differences between the LXXand masoretic texts are extreme. opposite in many cases to what they vast body of Protestant churches believe are truth and doctrine.

I still read and listen to the KJV. as I prepare a set of scriptures based on KJV Matthew to revelation. and LXX Genesis to Malachi. Thank You Lord to help me do this and avoid the awesome and fearsome consequences if adding to or taking away from Your Word Amen

I'm not the poster, but I believe what he is saying is that pretty much all Bibles have been translated from texts that were altered for effectively political control mechanisms, KJV included.
For myself, I don't know how much was intentionally translated improperly and how much was simply erroneous through natural issues with going from one language through another to make a third version.
We have to be sure that we aren't worshipping the Bible, but the Creator YHVH.
I read KJV, but when studying things out avail myself of ISR, NIV, NKJV, AENT, Restoration Scriptures, and Vine's, Green's and Strong's. :)
To me, all we have to do is look at how much the English language has changed since the 1600's to know that we have to really seek what is being said as opposed to what we think is being said.
Basically, if you seek, you will indeed find.
