1 Thessalonians 2:13
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

I spent my life in untruth and “the word of men.” Chapters 1 and 2 are very clear there is a big difference. I have been blessed beyond measure the last few years to see and know the difference. In chapter 1 and 2 you will see words like “labour of love, patience of hope , received the word in much affliction, with joy , Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come, suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, not as pleasing men , flattering words , cloke of covetousness , glory of men, deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile are just a few words we want no part of.
In the last few years I lost much in the world and became one of the richest people I know.

“Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

I moved from place to place as a child ,so as an adult I was comfortable in change. I was called to move about seven month ago but my husband does not like change for many reasons. I base my every decision on what the Lord wants , my husband is a man of science and being practical.

I understand Jesus can place a coin in a fishes mouth. I understand I have lived where we have , for His purpose and He has said move on. Following the true word of the Lord and true faith was and is never popular and very hard. It will come with losing the world and gaining a soul... Change is what it takes to follow Jesus, we can not take or look anything like the past. Until we die change should be happening...
