This morning at church,which is Orthodox, our Priest said we are in the end times, and the signs are all around us.He talked about this at length, saying that we must be prepared spiritually, and focus on Jesus, and not the things of this world.That we need to look inward, and focus on how to tidy up our souls, and work on our faults.
Eyes of the soul are opening, my friends, and the ears of the soul are listening. The Word of God is being proclaimed from the pulpits of the true Christian Churches that are left.The lukewarm churches are silent and dead.

He is right, we are in the end times. The Apostle Paul said that we would see that day coming, we are the children of the light.  I changed churches a little over 2 years ago. My old one was absolutely by the Bible, and the pastor was very conservative. He encouraged us to read the Bible. Then, he was ousted and a liberal was put in his place.2/3 of the congregation left almost immediately when the pastor was ousted. I stayed on for a little while, until I couldn't stomach the political correctness and liberalism any longer. I found a church home closer to my house, and was surprised to find a pastor like the one that was ousted at my former church.He encourages us to read the Bible and to continually pray. FTR, I was scorned by all my family, and a lot of my former friends, for changing churches. I went from Byzantine Catholic, to Ukrainian Orthodox.
