So glad that you both have this time to create a wonderful memory together. Will be praying for you and Roy on Valentines day.

Something to add. Roy's son, who has not spoken with in 25 years, wants to see him.The last time he spoke to him, the son threatened to beat him up.I pray they reconcile. They are meeting up tomorrow afternoon at Roy's brother's house.

Roy still has a daughter and a stepdaughter to reconcile with. I pray this happens so he can have peace.

I hope you or one of your daughters will be there.

Roy doesn't want us there, but his brother and sister-in-law will be there to chaperone.I want to go, but he said no. I just hope it turns out OK.

Jesus tells us a thief can be seen in doing these things “steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” There is only One true God and no one wants to turn their back on Him and go against His plan. No one teaches like Him. Job and the Cross are His teaching materials. When we do not think we desire His teaching , like Job or being sent into Babylon, we end up in Jeremiah 21.
The only reason a thief steals , kills and destroys is because they covet something that never belonged to anyone but God. The Lord is saying we have turned our backs on Him and made our own rules and paths to go as they always did in the past. That never works out...

I pray this all works out, 25 years is a long time for a young man to think. I hope he is man enough to put the hate down.

I went through this with my son, took my son 20 years to see, I'm not the ass hat he thought I was.

For Roy I pray this turns out good.

I will update later as to what the outcome of the meeting is. I hope it is good, but I am worried it will be confrontational.

Another thing I am dealing with, is that Roy wants absolutely no one to come over, not even family.I have had to turn down multiple offers of food and visits. It is Roy's decision, but IMO, I think this would be good to have some company, and the food would be so appreciated. One day at a time, I guess.

In John 12 , Jesus is very clear we cannot be hanging out in darkness to be His Light. Exodus 20 is very clear we are to not be disloyal to God and Job is our example to not have pride. 1 Thessalonians tells us what family to marry into and they need to holy and unblameable and we had to keep that family walking worthy of God.

Philippians 4 describes what that family should like like. The Bible is priceless to those receive it. We always had to go to it, to see what Our father wanted from us. Jesus warned we would go to it ,to see what we wanted and we have. Jeremiah 39, is a great example why we wanted to know what God wants. Ezra is very clear we could not pollute the Word of God and we have to be righteous to go before Him.
We have even polluted “ the communion of the blood of Christ.” Bad doctrine came in where Jesus ate with sinners and now it is taught anyone can take “the communion of the blood of Christ,” we would not want to offend anyone. When there is hard questions and so many doctrines ,we need to fall to what Jesus did. That Supper was a private invite to those He had invited. Judas is our example of taking that Supper and not being of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 10 is very clear we can not have “fellowship with devils.”

Revelation 19 and many other places tells us we have to be clothed in “the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”
Ephesians 5 and Hebrews 2 are very clear to not be “ unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.” We never wanted to be a land where nothing grew or have our name removed because we polluted God's Word. We were to be as Paul and Peter never with flattering words to please men. Ruth followed Naomi because she saw a Light in a very dark time and she wanted to follow that Light. We can not be the Light of Jesus and have them ready to meet Jesus, if we pollute how that happens.

We live in strange times and doctrines have made Jesus like candy. Jesus warned us to be ready and no matter what anyone teaches , Jesus is very clear in “Mark 13:But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. “

A few times when I have prayed over the past few weeks, my hands feel warmer or tingle.... or both. Anyone else run into this? I'm a Christian and believer in Jesus Christ.

Thanks. I'm into some very heavy spiritual warfare right now. I get fatigue and pressure around my head. I know it's witchcraft. Some really bad family stuff going on.

Roy talked to his son over the phone, instead of meeting him at Roy's brother's house. The first thing his son did was apologize for being a jerk, and told Roy that he was right. His son lives about 3 1/2 hours from here, but wants to have Roy meet his wife and kids.
