Exodus 20:14Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Jeremiah 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness. 7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

Psalms 61:4I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. 5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. 6 Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations. 7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. 8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.


The people in Jeremiah were disloyal and committed adultery in the vows they made with God. The Lord is clear He wants His family to be loyal. After the Cross we are to be Peter's, that is our calling and to use the gifts we are given to help hold God's family together. Just like we are loyal to our earthly families ,we are to be even more so to God. If you have not read Psalm 61 to the Lord , read it to Him then keep His ways and truths. We never want to hear “Matthew 7:I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. “ Take time to know and love the Lord better than anyone you know. Be married to God first and trust “ in the covert of His wings.” Preform those vows daily , there is no greater love than His...
