Roy update.

The doctor got the psychiatrist to do another evaluation. When the shrink did the first one, by video conference, Roy was calm. The shrink came yesterday evening and saw the real deal. Right now, the social worker is trying to get Roy into a psychiatric hospital that also deals with medical problems, about 45 minutes from my home. They have 4 locations. The other ones are at the other end of the state.

I am madder than a wet hen right now, as I got a call from an oncologist about an hour ago, that really had me almost lose it, but I kept my cool.This jerk had the gall to push chemo. He was very persistent, and I held firm. He said it night buy Roy time. He said there might be as much as a 70% chance that the cancer can be knocked down and might not come back for 8 months or maybe a year.
I told him that when Roy was told in late January that he was inoperable and incurable and chemo MIGHT buy him a little time. Roy said no, and I respect his wishes.This doctor just wouldn't shut up, really downright pushing it. I asked him if he read Roy's chart. He said yes, and then I heard the shuffle of paper, HUMM. I told this quack that IF he read the chart, he would know that Roy has severe emphysema and a heart murmur besides the fact his mental faculties are totally gone. I asked this quack, would chemo bring his mental state back, and he said no. I told him that I will NOT torture my husband with something that will probably kill him before the cancer does !

Yes, my friends, Tiger's claws were out. Prayers needed.

This has been a trying day.
My little Fox Terrier, Jewel, is currently in surgery.I had to rush her to the Vet earlier. Her one back toenail was sitting sideways and her foot was bleeding. The Vet said she has a bad infection in her toe and foot.They are going to remove that toenail and do whatever else they got to do to her foot.
Prayers needed for my little Jewel !
