So let's see. According to early reports and my own lying ears listening to the police scanner, the story originally was that a young white male was shooting from the roof of St. Luke hospital with a shotgun, and a second gunman with a red hat was seen through binocs by "Shirley".

Now we've got a lone young Hispanic male using a rifle he stole earlier in the day, firing from a lower floor of the construction site adjacent to St. Luke's Hospital.

The discrepancy with the gun is the only one that stands out as odd. Everything else is understandable confusion of early reporting.
