I don’t know that, since I haven't found out what kind of algorhythms are used to render the stars in the dome. The position of the observer can easily be tied into them. It does not matter which algorithm is used. You can have the sky rotating around TWO points at the SAME time with FET. In a strictly 3D space it's probably impossible, yet it's trivial in 4D space. Go out and look it every direction, at sea LEVEL, on a high building the horizon will always be in the same place. You are looking at the plain, where the horizon meets the sky. |
