It looks like there was an issue with a web link to get to the master account creation page. Use this direct link for now as an alternative: [link to forum.enb-emulator.com]

The patcher program asks if you've setup a master account, it is likely that this still works perfectly fine, but if you use the website instead and try to create the account manually, you might run into a broken link.






I've started a small list of anyone that wants their game character to be known, so everyone knows who's who, and can find each other in-game. Let me know and I'll add you to it.










This game originally came out around 2002-03, and Electronic Arts pulled the plug on it a few years later after buying out its company, Westwood Studios... This devastated the fans and players, as EA simply felt the game wasn't profitable enough (even though it was still relatively thriving.)

After the closure, an emulator project was developed by the community, simply titled the "Earth & Beyond Emulator," and this went on for a number of years. The goal was to recreate a playable server for the (now worthless) game client...

Apparently, they pulled it off, and the game is now free-to-play and has a small community base: [link to net-7.org]

I played the original game during its entire beta, and for some time after release. There was really nothing else like it.

If you are still reading, then you must be interested. Here's how to join in:

- Go to the main Net-7 site (shown earlier) and download the client and patcher.
  (These should be the first two listed downloads.)

- Install* the client program, which is actually in the form of a "demo" from
  the old beta period.

- Install the patcher (the Net-7 Unified Installer) and follow the guided
  instructions.

- Run the LaunchNet7 program, patch**, and then play...


* Ignore anything about a registration key or code, and close any browser window
  that might open.  (The file unpacking and installation continues, regardless.)

** Run "EnBConfig" from the Net-7 patcher to setup graphics options first!
