If they were the story would go something like this. Private so and so and LT so and so and on and on. They should be asked to Identify the supposed soldiers by name and rank.

They are covering up the fact that 3 middle eastern men were doing recon on 2 schools.

I wanted to give credit to the OP.

I made a thread before seeing this one.

I just wanted add , since I'm from the area and even attended Bouge Sound, that this not normal. My older sister who lives there is not letting my Nephew go to school at least for this week.

These schools ARE local shelters for emergency, in the case of a hurricane for example, but this being done in December is extremely odd.
Also, these schools are very organized and have many military family ties. The school's NOT being notified and the men NOT being in uniform is the most surprising part of this to me.

This is major major news for an area that is heavy influenced by military ,so that should raise major suspension in itself.

Very strange, very bad... So two "non caucasian" and a "white" man walk into a school in plaid and ask about some intricate details of this schools emergency plans... Doesn't sound like mil intelligence gathering to me, I'm no expert but like others have said. Wouldn't a phone call sufficed? Have someone supply sufficient information as to who they are and then go straight to the top of the school district, as apposed to going through a front office under-grad who probably couldn't get the principle on the phone if they tried?

A very large part of the population in this area is military affiliated. Had they called and scheduled , then show up in a uniform there would be no story or issues. Growing up there we would stop class, have our teachers take us to the road with USA flags and weave to all the military convoys of troops deploying and coming home.

That's why the community is so bothered and paranoid, this is extremely odd.

The sheriff has nothing to go on other than ID's. Ft. Bragg should be the ones confirming or denying.

I understand what you are saying and if so, please contact the proper authorities. Don't leave this up to the news agencies to handle they probably wont. Contact your local sheriff and the FBI if your sheriff department is unwilling to.

There is a high level of outrage in the community. It is a pretty conservative area that is aware that being a military affiliated community they could be a potenial target for terrorism. It is a tight nit family community.

I would be willing to bet that school attendance will be near a record low tomorrow , even if just in protest if not for other reasons. My nephew will not be in class, and he doesnt even attend these particular schools.

"So on" includes they had no business going to that school, they did not have permission nor orders to do so.

Sounds like Army CID, investigators for the Army. They do walk around in Civilian clothes, it's part of the job
